The Eye of the Universe --- break ---

I stared into the eye of the universe,
I looked into eternity,
The past, the future,
The truth, the lies,
I saw them all,
Including me,
The greatest lie of all,
In realising that lie I found truth,
I reached my own inner peace,
I stopped for a heartbeat.
Then, carried on falling.
