Dreams, Contrasts and Realities
Realities:
The Wall of Tears
A liquid wall of tears,
Of a million falling drops,
Interlocking together,
A small yet powerful construction,
A large contradiction,
Constricting of minds flow,
A dull pervading roar.
The wall ever stands,
Sometimes behind my shoulder,
Sometimes beside me,
Deep blue eyes speak of silence,
Reflecting the sheer wall,
A haunted presence of tears.
The surface breaks,
Deep within the wall of tears,
I stand alone once more,
Tears lightly falling,
Each speaking of a memory gone.
A tear breaks against my lip,
Breaking into shattered dreams.
A promise of security,
Knowing every drop,
I can feel the song of silent showers,
Blue eyes speak of change,
Deep within the wall of tears.
