My definition of a poetry deviation is a poem that in the process of re-writing creates a significantly different but similar poem. Hence all though they share some common themes or phrases they are in affect a deviation of each other.
To put it another way at some point in the writing process the poem comes to a fork in the road and here presented are the poems that resulted in travelling down each road.
