It always seems warmer when it snows,
Why is that so?
It always seems somehow cosy,
Why should that be so?
Snowflakes drifting across my face,
Touching my soul,
Cold into warmth,
Warmth into cold,
Warmth in ice,
Softness in snow,
Snow soft against my skin.
A warm heart in a cold land.
Could I soar amongst the flakes?
Swirl around the sky,
Dance with the snow,
Float amongst the flakes,
Be a mist amidst the snow.
Just let it fall,
For I am always warmer when it snows.
