Dreams, Contrasts and Realities
Dreams:
What Do You See?
Sometimes I notice a silence,
Where there should be a voice,
I turn around,
To find you there,
Silent and still,
Your eyes look at me,
But they do not register my presence,
Should I ask?
Should I speak?
Would I be treading,
On memories you prefer to keep.
Where do I stand?
What's my position?
To share the memories,
That is my prerogative,
I ask and you reply,
And together we can laugh or cry,
Always together,
Arm in arm,
Our defence against the world.
